Writing things so you don't have to
Colm Currie is a writer and (occasional) journalist, based in Glasgow, Scotland, though, interestingly, he is originally from Edinburgh, also Scotland. He holds a Master of Letters in Digital Journalism from the University of Strathclyde, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Stirling, where he was also a regular contributor to and Political Editor for Brig, the student newspaper. He has written for several other publications, including The Herald, the Evening Times, ScotsPolitics, The Glasgow Journal, The Inner Circle (websites now sadly defunct), and the Strathclyde Telegraph. Colm has also written one (1) book.

Colm writes on a range of issues, particularly those subjects in which he is most interested, such as Scottish, UK and world politics, film and television, football, and general opinion pieces. You can find some of these writings here, while others are scattered around The Internet.
Colm’s hobbies include writing, Tweeting, consuming media, consuming cheese, grammar enthusiasm, singing songs in the voice of Sir Sean Connery, making pie charts, and referring to mundane everyday domestic objects as “badboys”.
